# AutoSignalCopier
> Telegram and Discord signal copier for MetaTrader: signals in, MT5/MT4 orders out, and your message content never leaves your PC.

## Specification

- Category: Signal copier (chat message → MetaTrader order)
- Signal sources: Telegram, Discord
- Telegram auth: Your own account, QR code or phone number
- Discord auth: Bot token (recommended), or own account token (prohibited by Discord's terms; opt-in, account-termination risk)
- Destinations: MetaTrader 5 (verified path), MetaTrader 4 (build 600+; shipped, live verification pending)
- Operating system: Windows 10 / 11, 64-bit
- Account types: Live and demo, routed and billed identically
- Message types read: New text messages; image posts and their captions on chats where you turn image reading on (read locally with Windows OCR)
- Not read: Chat history; images on chats where image reading is off; Discord embed text
- Position sizing: Per destination: fixed lots (default), or risk per trade as % of balance or equity (max 20%) or a fixed money amount; a risk-sized lot is computed by the EA from the stop-loss distance and rounded down, and a signal with no stop loss is refused
- Take profits: Per destination: TP1 only (default), or one position per listed target, split equally or by your shares (e.g. 50/30/20), each with its own TP and the entry's SL; the volume or risk is divided, never multiplied, and a target too small for the broker minimum on fixed lots is dropped and its share spread over the rest
- Symbol handling: Explicit per-destination mapping (e.g. EURUSD → EURUSD.a)
- Trade path: Packaged EA over loopback 127.0.0.1 — no internet hop
- Execution control: Fail-closed gate, typed confirmation to arm, never retroactive
- Trade management: Entry follow-ups (close, partial close, break-even, move SL/TP, cancel, close all) per channel, off by default; on a split signal they reach every open position, and “TP2 to X” only the second
- Break-even and trailing: Per destination, off by default: break-even after TP1, after X pips or after a multiple of R (optional lock-in offset), and a trailing stop that only tightens; the pip and R rules and the trail run in the EA, so they keep working with the app closed, and need the updated connector
- Account protection: Per destination, off by default: a daily loss limit (account currency or % of the day's starting balance, from server midnight or a UTC hour you pick), a maximum drawdown (% from peak equity or from a starting balance you enter), and caps on open copier trades per account and per symbol; the loss and drawdown limits are checked by the EA on every tick, so they hold with the app closed, and need the updated connector; at a limit new entries stop, optionally closing only the copier's own positions
- Entry filters: Off by default: trading hours in your local time per destination and per channel, a symbol allow or deny list per channel, a maximum spread per destination or symbol, a price-moved limit that skips the trade or places a pending order at the stated entry, and an expiry for pending orders; the spread and price-moved limits are checked by the EA against the live quote and need the updated connector
- News filter: Per destination, off by default: no new entries from 0-240 minutes before to 0-240 minutes after a high-impact (optionally medium-impact) event in the ForexFactory calendar, for the currencies the symbol trades in; optionally closes the copier's own positions and pending orders on those symbols minutes before; run by the app with any connector, and fail-closed when the calendar can't be downloaded
- Entry zones: Per destination, off by default: a signal that gives a zone ("2350-2345") with its stop and first target outside it can trade as one limit order at the middle, or as 2-10 orders spread across it with the first at market; the size or risk is divided between them and split over the take-profits, within a per-signal order limit (6 by default); orders still waiting are cancelled when the channel closes the trade or a position reaches its target; ordinary MetaTrader orders, so any connector
- AI reading: Off by default: a message the parser finds no signal in can be sent to OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini or an OpenAI-compatible server, with your own API key, straight from your computer; the answer must pass the same parser rules and routing checks, only opens trades, and waits for your Trade in the inbox unless you choose automatic; images are sent only if you allow it
- Stop-loss rule: By default, an entry with no stop is refused (user-settable); a risk-sized destination always refuses one
- Paired devices: 3 per plan
- Price: From $10 / month, 1 account included, +$5 per extra account
- Free trial: 7 days on quarterly or yearly, up to 3 trading accounts, no payment method
- Offline behavior: A cloud outage does not stop routing (cached licence, up to 60 min)
- Cloud scope: Message content never leaves your PC; parsed signals, trades, snapshots, journal notes and symbol mappings sync to the dashboard
- Installer: Windows 10/11, 64-bit · unsigned build: Windows SmartScreen may warn on first run
- Not available yet: Code-signed builds and automatic updates: the current installer is unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen may warn once on first run · Password resets are support-assisted for now
